Third Hope Africa, based in Uganda, and Third Hope International, based in the UK, were set up together in 2010 and have worked closely on the project ever since.

Third Hope Africa is the implementation arm of the organisation, working in Uganda to pioneer the project.

Third Hope International raises funds to facilitate the project and raises awareness of the issue through advocacy.

Third Hope Africa:

Ugandan Team

The team in Uganda meets the daily challenges of pioneering the project and establishing a presence in the region. They tackle everything from construction to planting and harvesting crops to the administration needed to facilitate the work. Every team member has suffered from the war and like most people in the region have lost family and friends to the troubles. Working together has forged a unity that is enabling them to counter the devastation of war and care for the children who have been severely affected by this injustice.

Third Hope Africa Board:

Board members in Uganda have helped to steer us through the tough challenges of working in a post-conflict zone. With their guidance, we have had to develop our own systems and routines in order to establish the project and reach out to others.
